Overview

You are attempting to embed a list view on a Bonzai page. When you check in or publish the page, you encounter the error "429 TOO MANY REQUESTS" followed by a page that displays "Something's not right
The page you requested is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience, please check back in a few minutes." After the error, you are unable to load any SPO sites for a few minutes. You are on Bonzai v1.6.

Solution

• This issue is occurring because Bonzai v1.6 does not have the Bonzai improvements that cache the API responses. This is why the "429 too many requests" errors are appearing.
• This issue will no longer occur once Bonzai is upgraded to version 2 as changes have been implemented in Bonzai 2 to cache the API responses so that throttling can no longer occur. The user profiles, content targeting, People Listing, etc are now cached in version 2 to avoid the "too many requests" errors.
• To upgrade to Bonzai Version 2.2.X from v1.6, please select the latest version in the Release Notes and follow the corresponding instructions.
