Enhancements

Bonzai Intranet 2.2.13 release has been certified with the Microsoft Edge browser.

Microsoft has recently announced the deprecation of Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 in favor of the new browser – Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge, which is based on the fast open-source Chromium engine, is the preferred browser for the Windows operating system.

We made sure that works on Microsoft Edge. Even more, our testing has indicated that Microsoft Edge is substantially faster than Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.

Deprecation notice

We are deprecating Microsoft Internet Explorer support in favor of the Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based). Although we recommend against it, you can continue to use Bonzai Intranet with Internet Explorer. However, in case of issues that are specific to Internet Explorer, the recommendation will be to use Microsoft Edge and bug resolution will be at our discretion.

How to Install or Upgrade to This Release

The Bonzai team will deploy 2.2.13 to our CDN (Content Delivery Network) on April 3, 2021, and republish the themes for 2.2 customers.

Customers running 2.2.0 and above will automatically be updated to 2.2.13, with no further action required on their tenants/farms.
