Overview

You discover that all comments have disappeared on Spark while running Bonzai v1.5 on Sharepoint Online. You see 5003 total comments in the Comment list.

Solution

1. You can upgrade Bonzai to at least v2.1 where this particular issue was fixed. You can contact Professional Services for more information on how we can help you upgrade to higher releases.
2. Please see the article Comments on Bonzai not Displaying for Customers on SharePoint Online that fixes the issue specifically for 1.6 and 2.0
3. If you remain on Bonzai v1.5, create a workflow that automatically deletes comments older than 1 year from the Comment list to prevent the list from exceeding 4995 comments at any time.

Testing

Check if comments can now be viewed, and new comments can post correctly.
